February 2006 saw Birmingham Royal Ballet make a welcome return to the Hong Kong Arts Festival with their highly acclaimed production of Beauty and the Beast.
TW Consulting are privileged to be Birmingham Royal Ballet’s appointed Travel Agent, and over the years have worked closely with the Ballet to ensure all their day-to-day travel requirements are met and the arrangements for their many overseas tours go smoothly, from start to finish.
Going back as far as 1990 TW Consulting have successfully undertaken tours on behalf of Birmingham Royal Ballet to such divers destinations as Hong Kong and Bangkok, Turin, Chicago and New York, South Africa and Germany.
The logistics of moving an entire production of up to 200 people and equipment calls for specialist knowledge. TW Consulting negotiate the most competitive air fares and hotel rates and provide all transportation needs whilst on tour.
We also undertake work on behalf of Sadlers Wells and Northern Ballet.
As well as organising Specialist Groups from the UK to travel overseas, we have a thriving Inbound Tours Division. Working with organisations such as The Dance Consortium and Dance Touring Partnership, TW Consulting make flight, accommodation and transport arrangements for a number of incoming touring Dance Companies.
2005 was a bumper year for Contemporary Dance Groups. Our first arrival was the Australian Dance Theatre in January, the Brazilian Grupo Corpo followed in May, along with Nederlands Dans Theatre 2 and the acclaimed French group, Compagnie Kafig. September saw the world famous Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre round the year off in fantastic style!
